In July 2023 I was commissioned to make a necklace in a particular colour for a wedding anniversary. The day after the anniversary I received the following email:
"Dear Maureen Thanks so much for the lovely necklace - Xxxx loves it and it looks great on her. Today is our anniversary and so I gave it this morning along with some other presents. Thanks again for making it so quickly and the delivery! Best regards Xxxxxxx"
In March 2022 I was commissioned by the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge
to create large glass dishes and a range of jewellery inspired by macrophotography images of the
insides of trees to compliment their exhibition “True to Nature” which
ran from 3 May 2022 to 30 August 2022. The macrophotography images are projected on a wall as part of the final room of the exhibition which features the beauty of the internal structure of trees as recorded by Alan Crivellaro BSc Msc PhD.
My dishes and a range of glass
and silverjewellery inspired by the same images are on sale both in the
Fitzwilliam Museum Shop, Trumpington St, Cambridge CB2 1RB open 10.00 to 17.00 Tuesday – Saturday, 12.00 – 17.00 Sunday and (jewellery) on-line in the Fitzwilliam Museum's shop "Curating Cambridge".
